Hi there, Tegan!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Since it seems you’ve joined the Castaway Club as a previous cruiser you know all the amazing and memorable things that Disney Cruise Line has to offer families from family activities and character experiences to
exciting adventures at ports of call.
The prospect of planning future Disney Cruise Line adventures are so exciting and since there are so many different itineraries to choose from you cannot go wrong with any sailing or ship you choose! Disney Cruise Line offers many
conveniences and amenities that make traveling with little ones a dream come true! From pack and plays and diaper pails available in your stateroom to the exceptional Cast Members in the
“it’s a small world nursery”!, you can actually feel like you’re on a vacation even traveling with the youngest Mouseketeers!
The
minimum age for traveling on Disney Cruise Line is 6 months of age by the date of sailing. For Transatlantic and Panama Canal itineraries, the minimum age is one year by date of sailing. Once your little one reaches six months old, he/she will be ready to get their own Castaway Club membership number and participate in the Jack Jack Diaper Dash onboard!
I love that you are planning ahead and as you continue to plan for your next Disney Cruise Line vacation, please feel free to come back with additional questions and tips about traveling with your little one!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
