Younger child not tall enough for space mountain. Should one schedule them for a different FP? Will adult be able to go through FP without a FP since they were scheduled their FP for say space mountain to ride with older child?

    Hi Sherry,

Walt Disney Resort has solved a problem that we have all encountered, some of our group wants to experience the thrill of a big attraction that might not be quite suited to everyone. In this situation, you would want to use both the FastPass+ and Rider Switch.

To make the best use of your first three FastPass+ selections, you will want to select Space Mountain for your older child and the adult blasting off with him. The two - or more - riders will approach the FastPass+ queue along with the non-riding child and adult. Simply inform the friendly Cast Member there that you would like to use the Rider Switch Program.  He or she will provide the waiting parent and child with a paper pass that will entitle up to three people to experience the attraction later.

Once your older child and space companion return to Earth, the adults swap child-partnering, and three people can head back to the FastPass+ queue for their own journey through the cosmos.

Using this system, your younger kiddo and the original waiting adult could enjoy a different attraction in the area that also uses FastPass+ while your first space explorers are off on their mission.

I hope this helped answer your question.  Please don't hesitate to join us again if we can help with anything else!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
