Candy from OR Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My younger brother is in the USAF, and is purchasing tickets to go to the parks in January through the great Armed Forces Salute program. If we purchase MagicBands in Downtown Disney, can these tickets be linked to the bands? We'd like to use Fastpass+!

    Hi Candy,

Thanks so much for asking this question here on the Moms Panel. As a fellow Airman in the Air Force, please send your brother good tidings from me!

Disney's Armed Forces Salute military discounted tickets can definitely be linked to purchased MagicBands. Once you purchase your MagicBands, you can connect your MagicBand to your My Disney Experience account. Under MagicBands and Cards, there will be a Link button at the bottom of the page. Click it and add the number on the back of the MagicBand. It will be linked to your My Disney Experience account. Your brother can also do this for everyone on his Friends and Family list that will be using the Armed Forces Salute tickets. Within his account, he can add the tickets to the account, link them to your purchased MagicBands, and make FastPass+ selections. If your brother needs instructions on how to connect his Armed Forces Salute tickets to his account, they are located here: Link Armed Forces Salute Tickets to My Disney Experience.

I hope this answers your question, Candy. If you or your brother have any other questions about your upcoming magical vacation in January, please feel free to ask me at any time.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
