When I was young, you could ride in your parents lap for Space Mountain. Is that still the case? Can my son ride in my lap?

Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel!

For the safety of our guests, you are not allowed to have your child seated with you on one seat or on your lap.  In order for your child to ride Space Mountain, he/she must meet the height requirement of 44 inches (112 cm) or taller.  Should your child meet the height requirement, he/she will be able to join you on your rocket ship vehicle which has three seats per rocket ship.  Disney will only allow one person per seat for those guests meeting the height requirement.  Again, this is for the safety of our guests.

Again, thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel.  Please come back again should any new questions or concerns pop-up.  We are always ready to help our guests build the vacation of a lifetime!

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!
