Hi Krystal! Welcome to planDisney! I’m sure you are counting down the days until you can escape the cold of New York and arrive at the
Most Magical Place On Earth! As a former New Yorker, I understand that winters tend to drag on at times. A late winter getaway sounds like the perfect idea!
There is no better feeling than arriving under the archways for your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation and seeing the glimmer in your children’s eyes. As a father of two young daughters, watching their reactions is my lasting memory of every trip. I can still envision our first time watching the
Festival of Fantasy Parade (which is returning in early 2022) and seeing the joy in their faces as their favorite characters went by. The best is when a princess will make eye contact with your little one and they either blow a kiss or send a wave. Your child will feel on top of the world at that moment.
Regarding your question, it will depend on exactly how old your children are at the time of your visit. If your children are under the age of three, then a
theme park ticket or
park reservation is not needed for entry in any of the four theme parks or two waterparks. If your child is between the ages of 3-9, then a
theme park ticket and
park reservation are required for entry. The cost is dependent on the type of ticket purchased and the time of year you will be visiting.
Keep in mind that your child’s age will also determine their cost at certain dining locations. For example, if you are dining at
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White, children between the ages of 3-9 will be charged a fixed price per child. Children under three will not be charged at all. This will not be the case for any dining location that offers an a la carte menu since pricing is determined by the items you order.
Krystal, I hope you have the best time visiting during the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! Please stop back to planDisney at any time!
See ya real soon!
