I have 2 young grandsons 2-1/2 and 11 months and will be visiting Orlando in May and would like advise as to character meals and parks for this age

    Hi Paulette!

Absolutely! I would recommend visiting Magic Kingdom at least two full days, Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios one full day each. While I absolutely love Epcot, I believe the other three Disney Theme Parks have more attractions and entertainment options for the younger kids.

Below is a list of some Disney Character Dining experiences which I'm certain your grandsons will love:

    1. Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort will delight children and grown ups with delicious foods and wonderful character interaction. You will have the opportunity of meeting Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto. Characters are dressed in their culinary best.
    2. 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at Disney's Polynesian Resort is served "family style." There you will interact with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto. Characters wear their tropical Hawaiian attire.
    3. The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom is a buffet style family favorite. There you will meet Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet.
    4. Donald's Safari Breakfast or Lunch at Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom will have your family dining with Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Mickey. They wear their safari outfits.

If you can secure early morning reservations for option 3, your family will enjoy the added bonus of taking pictures of a virtually empty Main Street U.S.A. and Cinderella's Castle without crowds in the background! Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.

Enjoy a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
