I have young children and want a resort that has convenience to MK. Where would you suggest?

    Hi, Dana!

    Great question!

In my opinion, for families with small children (especially those still in strollers), the most convenient Walt Disney World Resort hotels are those which are adjacent to the monorail: Disney's Contemporary Resort; Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa; Disney's Polynesian Resort. If you'd like to add the bonus of a full kitchen, in-room laundry and walkability to Magic Kingdom, then add a Villa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort to the top of the list.

By staying at one of these resorts, Guests can access Magic Kingdom more easily and quickly. Even better, the littlest, stroller-bound Guests can stay in those strollers (often fast asleep) while Mom, Dad or Grandpa wheel them out of MK, onto the monorail, off the monorail and right up to their room; it's so very convenient! My favorite is Bay Lake Tower, though, because it's a 5-minute walk between MK and the resort; plus, we can travel more lightly by doing a couple of loads of laundry each night...we even come home with clean clothes (imagine that!) The full kitchen helps keep little tummies from grumbling, too. A studio at BLT offers a kitchenette (laundry facilities in building, rather than in room), still keeping Guests within walking distance to MK. If you'd rather stay in a more traditional room, those at Disney's Contemporary are right next door to BLT, so they are just as close to MK, too.

Hope that helps, Dana! Send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
