I have 2 young children one will be 3 and the other will be 9 months . Can someone please tell me if the baby will be able to go on any of the smaller rides? And also do you have any advice for taking young children to disney world?

    Taraney:

Let me set you at ease....Disney caters to parents of little ones!

First of all, there are oodles of rides that both your children will enjoy, and in every park!  I have limited space here to give you every tip for toddlers, so let me point you in the direction of a few resources that I feel are invaluable for a parent of youngsters:

    • Click here to visit Disney's official site for planning for Little Ones.  There, you'll find a listing of rides that have height restrictions, so you'll know what your baby can and cannot do.  You'll also find an explanation of the Rider Swap program if your baby cannot ride.  Don't miss the Travel Tips & Suggestions!
    • Be aware that there is a Comfort/Baby Station in every park (look for the pacifier on your park map). You'll have a quiet place to nurse or feed your baby in the comfort of some A/C.  If you've forgotten anything, they also have a small "store" where you can purchase diapers, wipes, formula, baby food, etc.
    • Check out our Mom's Panel category, "Toddlers & Infants" under the larger category of "Planning."  You may find some questions, and of course answers, you'd never think to ask!
    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
