I have young children, are there alternatives for food since they will not be eating as much and I don't want to pay for a high price meal when they might only eat a 1/4 of it?

    Hi Cheryl!

Young children will add so much wonder and awe to your trip to Walt Disney World! Watching preschoolers enthralled at the sight of pirates and princesses, spinning madly in giant teacups, and gasping at spectacular fireworks creates priceless memories.

Walt Disney World is designed with children in mind and dining is no exception. Both quick service and table service restaurants offer kids menus for children 3-9. Typical choices include chicken nuggets, pizza, hamburgers, pasta, and Smuckers Uncrustables. All-you-care-to-eat places charge a lower amount for guests 3-9.

Practically every menu is available online at Disney Dining, so you can check on selection and pricing ahead of time.  The Pinocchio Village House menu provides an example of a typical kids' meal. My family is always drawn to this Bavarian themed spot when we visit the Magic Kingdom; you might even snag one of tables that looks over "it's a small world".

    Enjoy your wonderful adventure!
