Yippee, 1st DCL trip! Boo, planning trip home. Taking the Wonder to Mexico in October. What time will it dock? I've seen 9:30am and heard 7:30am. Need to arrange shuttle and airfare. Best flight out is 11:55am. Will we make it? Any insider tips?

    Hi Lynette,

Congratulations on your first Disney cruise...I get so excited when I hear about first time Guests!  I promise it sure won't be your last!

Disney Cruise Line recommends that your earliest flight departure should not be earlier than 12:30pm.  Guests typically start leaving around 8:00am if they've had their early breakfast seating or are making a mad dash to the airport!  I think you can make your 11:55 flight, but make sure that you prepare for it.  Here are some suggestions:

    1.    You can save time by taking your own luggage off the ship that morning.

    2.    Ask Guest Services for early departure luggage tags.

    3.    Book a car service for transportation back to the airport.  Taking the bus means waiting for it to fill up and then make several drop offs.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you need help with anything else.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Have a great trip!
