YIKES! 5 DAYS till WDW!!!! I looked for the 10 day weather forcast & found a couple of sites, they are all COMPLETLY different! Is there a particular website that you have found to be more reliable or accurate? Thank you for all your help.

    Hi Angela,

Ahhhh the dreaded weather question.  It's so hard to pack and plan for a vacation without know what the weather will be, and this time of year is particularly tough.  It could be chilly.  It could be warm.  We're leaving in a few days, so I feel your anxiety.

For the 10 day forecast I typically go to www.weather.com - it's the Weather Channel site.  I find that it gives me a fairly good idea.  As my vacation gets closer, I check with one of the local television station sites.  I figure the local forecasters know the area best.

No matter what the forecast, if I'm traveling during the winter months I always bring a medium weight jacket.  Even if it's warm during the day, it will get chilly once the sun sets.  Another must is a rain poncho.  You never know when you'll see some of that liquid sunshine to dampen your day.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
