Welcome to planDisney, Heather!
I'm so glad you
hopped over to us with your question on this
very big day. It looks like you're headed to The Most Magical Place on Earth
real soon, so there's no time to waste. Let's talk packing for a day in the Parks!
If Mary Poppins taught us anything, it's the importance of a well-stocked day bag, and this is especially true for a day at Walt Disney World. In the winter, your bag might be filled with additional layers, but there's nothing like a cool drink on a warm Florida day. With this in mind, I'm happy to share that coolers are permitted inside Walt Disney World's theme parks and water parks as long as they fall within the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules size guidelines (no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high). Unfortunately, the specifications listed online for the cooler you mentioned are 25.2" x 11.9" x 17.3", so it looks like it is a bit too long to be used for a day in the theme parks.
If you happen to have a smaller cooler you'd like to bring with you on your magical vacation, you're more than welcome to. It's just important to note that neither loose nor dry ice is permitted inside the theme parks, so you'll want to cool your beverages and/or snacks with reusable ice packs.
If you don't have a smaller cooler, no sweat!
Quick Service dining locations are more than happy to provide cups of ice water for Guests upon request at no charge. I typically bring an insulated water bottle with me and use this method to refill and stay hydrated throughout the day.
I hope this helps you plan for your day, Heather, and that you'll come back to see us again at
planDisney. You've got a friend in us!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
