    Hi, yet another question. We are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge 12/3-12/10. I have read on your forums that fridges can be requested and I believe are free. Can I ask for this at check in or do I need to request in advance? Thanks again!

    Recently, Disney became aware of an issue with the refrigerators they had in the rooms at Walt Disney World Resort.  The refrigerators were pulled from the rooms due to safety concerns.

    I contacted Guest Services at (407) 827-7760 and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge at (407) 938-3000.  An automated recording at Guest Services as well as a Cast Member at Animal Kingdom just confirmed that the refrigerators at Animal Kingdom Lodge have been replaced so you are set.  The refrigerator will be there waiting for you and it is free of charge for you to use as needed.

    You are going to love Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge! It is magnificent!!  I'm so excited for you!!
