We're going to see Yehaa Bob Jackson at River Roost Lounge. Are we allowed to drive our own car to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside?

    Hi Erica,

Welcome back to planDisney! I love that you’re planning an evening with Yehaa Bob Jackson at River Roost Lounge!  This experience is a true hidden gem at Walt Disney World Resort. There’s nothing quite like his one-of-a-kind piano antics and infectious energy. You're going to laugh, sing, and clap the night away!

Now, let’s talk logistics. While you’re absolutely welcome to visit Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside to enjoy the lounge, parking availability for non-Resort Guests is limited and not guaranteed, especially during busy times. When you arrive at the security gate, just let the Cast Member know you’re there to see Yehaa Bob. If there’s parking space available, they’ll usually be happy to direct you to a self-parking spot near the main building. However, if the lot is at capacity, they may kindly redirect you. I will say, from personal experience, I’ve never had an issue parking there. But it’s best to know this is a possibility, albeit unlikely!

If you'd rather skip the gamble, you can also consider parking at Disney Springs and taking complimentary Disney transportation over to the resort. You can choose to bus there, or enjoy one of the Sassagoula River Cruise water taxis! It’s a lovely ride and can add a little extra magic to your night!

I hope you have the most delightful time tapping your toes and sipping something cozy at the River Roost. If you’re lucky, Bob just might get you on your feet for a dance break!

Sending joy, jazz hands, and Disney cheer,
    Emille
