This year's Wine & Dine Half marathon will be different from previous races as I will still be breastfeeding our twin infants who will be 5 months old at the time. Knowing the duration of this AWESOME event, any advice on nursing/ pumping/ milk storag

    Hi Melanie!

The Wine and Dine is an awesome event!  It's my favorite runDisney race!

My advice would be to do a practice run a couple of weeks before the race.  Make your training run at night and plan to be away from your twins for six or seven hours.  I would pump as normal and see what happens.  You can always use a small pump to pump right before the race if you feel like you will be too full and uncomfortable running.

When you are finished running, you could also take a few minutes to pump if you needed to before heading to the post-race party.  There will be a bag check available at the race if you needed to keep your pump in it.  You can check your bag before the race and pick it up after!

Just play around with it during your practice runs to see what your body is telling you.

I hope this helps!  Let me know if you have any other questions and good luck with your training!
