Hi Debbie!
Welcome to planDisney!
I am very happy to see that you are visiting Walt Disney World next month! It really is never too early to start planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, and you are right - there are so many new experiences to enjoy.
DVDs are no longer mailed out to Guests, but there are many other resources available to help you.
By using your My Disney Experience mobile app, you have access to park maps and lots of additional live information, including attraction Wait Times. Alternatively, you will find an interactive map available on the official website which you can filter to see all the information that is relevant to your visit.
When you are enjoying your vacation, Park Guide Maps can be picked up at any Guest Relations or the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel (in addition to every theme park). When you enter the parks, it's worth collecting an extra park guide map to take home and save for when you are planning your next trip! Individual park maps can be seen here:
Magic Kingdom Park,
Epcot,
Disney's Hollywood Studios,
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
Don't forget to browse through our wide
library of videos bursting with hints and tips from our planDisney panelists, and you can search our website for the answers to any questions you may have. If you can't find the information you are looking for, send us some questions!
During the phased re-opening of Walt Disney World, we may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our vacations to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience. Please read this information about
Returning to a World of Magic, and keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official updates as they are announced.
Please know we are working to be able to answer your questions as quickly as possible, and we look forward to providing an update as soon as we have more information to share. Come back and ask as many questions as you like! We are always happy to help you plan your vacation.
Sue
