    it has been years since I've been to WDW. are the manatees still there? i don't remember where they were located i just remember there being some.

    Hi Samantha ~

    I love manatees! They are like the teddy bears of the seas and even though they don't do a lot, they are fascinating to watch.

    You can find manatees in Epcot. Head towards The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion in Future World and look for them in Sea Base. Sea Base is a secondary care center for manatees. This location provides a home for manatees that have been rescued, but are not ready to live on their own, or will never be able to live on their own in the wild.

    One of the best times to visit the manatees is during feeding time when they are typically most active. They usually have a morning and afternoon feeding time. They throw a LOT of romaine lettuce in for them which seems to be their favorite. If you don't see the feeding times posted, ask the nearest Cast Member.
