It's been many years since we have visited WDW-and this june is when we are staying at the Art Animation Resort-w/our grandaughter who is 6-first time for her! Also going on our daughter, who will be 19 when we are there-what do they do for b'days?

Hi Sheri! You must be so excited to share your granddaughter's first Disney vacation with her!  There is nothing more amazing then watching Disney through the eyes of a child.  When checking into your resort, be sure to pick up a first time visitor button for your granddaughter and a birthday button for your daughter.  Have them wear their buttons proudly for lots of well wishes.

If you have any dining reservations, be sure to add the celebrations to them.  It's quite possible you may receive a little pixie dust surprise.  You can also arrange to order a cake at any table service restaurant - you can do that when checking in for your reservation.  You can visit the celebration page for additional ideas that might be of interest to you.

I hope your vacation is truly magical, Sheri!
