Hello, this year’s Star Wars day, May 4th 2025, I’m planning on dressing up. I’d like to wear my new Stormtrooper helmet on that day. With the rules of appropriate attire, even passed security and once inside the park, any face covering isn’t allowed? Ty!

Bright Suns, Tyler! Thank you for visiting the planDisney side of the galaxy with your question. I can help you with this question for an out-of-this-world day at Hollywood Studios.

Star Wars Day is one of the coolest days of the year to visit Hollywood Studios. There are so many limited snacks that day, one cannot try it all. Last year on the Disney Parks Blog there was a Foodie Guide and article on all of the limited offerings throughout the day. One of the highlights of last year was the Stormtrooper popcorn bucket and it was a very popular item. I bet that new Stormtrooper helmet is wizard, but the attire guidelines do prohibit face coverings. The Empire and Lord Vader would not allow you to board a battlecruiser without your helmet, but visiting Galaxys Edge with it is not allowed.

While you visit the Batuuan streets be sure to watch out for on duty Stormtroopers patrolling. These guys mean business and if you show you are on the dark side of things you sometimes get to interact with them. Sometimes they ask for your help finding the supporters of the resistance. Rise of the Resistance is another place you may feel right at home in space aboard a First Order Star Destroyer. Kylo Ren would be happy to have someone following around the secret mission you will be on. If you get hungry during your time visiting I always recommend picking up some grub from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. In the past these days there are usually special offerings from meals to snacks, so keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for galactic news when the date gets nearer.

I know these aren't the news you really wanted to hear, and I hope you can still find some fun places to use that helmet throughout the year. Stop back anytime to planDisney.com for help planning your future visits.

May the 4th be with you,

    Jeremy A.
