In years past (including as recently as last year), we heard that the Magic Kingdom shows its special New Year's Eve fireworks on both Dec. 30th (as a full dress rehearsal) and Dec. 31st (of course). Is this happening again this year (2011)? Thanks!

    Hi Lorelyn!

You are right!  That has happened in the past, and it is the plan for this year as well.  Basically it is a rehearsal for the fireworks show on New Year's Eve.  So you could watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks on the 30th and then head somewhere else for New Year's Eve.

Have a magical vacation, and write back if you have any more questions!
