What can you do with a 2 years old in Epcot Center.

    Hi Linet!

Thanks for writing to the Panel!  I'm delighted to report that I'm bringing my two-year old niece along with my family on our upcoming trip and absolutely intend to bring her to Epcot! Here are some suggestions for a visit with your toddler:
    • The Seas with Nemo and Friends, where you board a "clamobile" and see a mix of real sea life and animated characters from the popular film.
    • Turtle Talk with Crush - this is in the same pavilion as the Nemo ride.  There are also several sea life exhibits that young children tend to love.
    • Journey into Imagination and Image Works,  the Kodak "What If" Labs (the former is an adorable ride featuring "Figment" and the latter, an interactive play area where kids can stomp on pictures to make noise, make music by waving their arms and legs and a whole host of other "cool stuff"!)
    • The Gran Fiesta Tour featuring the Three Caballeros (the Caballeros include Donald Duck and two of his "quacky" pals.)
    • There is also a great "one stop shopping" character meet and greet at the Epcot Character Spot.  Here, by waiting on one, indoor, air-conditioned line, your tot will have a chance to meet some Disney superstars.  The last time we were there, my kids met Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip n' Dale and Pluto.

In addition to wonderful attractions, Epcot offers many opportunities for spontaneous magical moments with your little one.  My kids used to love to eat a Mickey ice cream bar while sitting on a bench watching the dancing water fountains.  (Who am I kidding, they still do!) They also really enjoyed strolling through the World Showcase, and seeing the live performers and elaborate, colorful costumes.  For dining recommendations with a toddler, I love The Garden Grille, which is a family-style character meal that features Farmer Mickey and Chip n' Dale.

I hope you chose to include Epcot on your itinerary.  Have a great trip!
