I have a 5years old daughter whose birthday is in August, but we did't enter the park on her birthday and did't stay in the park hotel. Will everything related to the birthday be provided?

Hello, Saiojiou, and a very warm welcome to planDisney! Sounds like you have a very special visit to Happiest Place on Earth coming up soon! I'm so thrilled for you and your family.

If I'm understanding your question correctly, Saiojiou, you might be asking for suggestions on ways to celebrate your daughter's birthday without entering the theme parks or staying in a Disneyland Resort Hotel. What a thoughtful (and totally doable) idea!

There's plenty of magic to be experienced, even without stepping foot into a theme park! Let me share a few ideas on what my family would do to celebrate.

First, I'd definitely begin our magical day with a Character Dining experience! Would your birthday girl be interested in spending time with her fellow princesses, perhaps? Then I would highly recommend the Princess Breakfast at the Grand Californian Hotel for an enchanting meal she'll never forget. (No need to be a Guest of the hotel!)

Next, you'll want to spend time in the Downtown Disney District. It's filled with Disney magic! To keep the party going, let your princess dance her heart out with live music from the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage! It's such a fun time! Then, after working up another appetite, let's get a bite to eat at my son's favorite dining location in Downtown Disney (and, honestly, in all of Disneyland Resort!) - Black Tap. It has a great kids' menu with classic kid favorites, as well as the most incredible milkshakes you'll ever see (and taste). My son is always wowed.

For dessert (if the milkshake wasn't enough), let your little princess pick out a birthday treat from the Wonderful World of Sweets! Many of the classic Disneyland treats you'd find in the parks are available at this location. It really is a sweet wonderland!

Lastly, it's not a birthday without presents! My family would head to The LEGO Store and World of Disney, for sure, to make some wishes come true!

Hope that sparks an idea, Saiojiou, for a magical celebration day!

If you do find yourself in the theme parks at any time during your visit, you are welcome to pick up a complimentary celebratory button for your birthday girl. They can be found at City Hall on Main Street in Disneyland Park or the Chamber of Commerce on Buena Vista Street in California Adventure. You may also ask a Cast Member in any of the shops, too, and they'll usually be able to point you in the right direction to find yourself a celebratory button. Your daughter will feel like the princess that she is!

I hope this information has been helpful to you, Saiojiou, but if I misunderstood your question somehow, please don't hesitate to come back and ask us another question! It's important to us for you to have everything you need to make your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth magical.

I trust you'll be dreaming a fantastic dream in no time, no matter where your adventure takes you, because you're the real magic, Mom.

Warmest birthday wishes to your princess,
    McCayla

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
