Hi! It's been 10 years since our family has traveled to WDW. We always stay on-site. The ADR and dining plan is new to me and we did not sign up for it for our upcoming trip in May. Will we be able to dine in any table service restaurant without a plan?!

    Hi Denise!

You can get more information on the various Disney Dining Plans here.  Some guests love the Dining Plan and save money by being on it, so you should definitely look into it.  However, being on a plan is not necessary to dine anywhere at Walt Disney World.

That said, having an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) is critical these days, especially during the busier times of the year.  There were Advanced Dining Reservations 10 years ago, but they weren't the necessity that they are now.  Back then, it was just a useful thing to do; today, however, you shouldn't leave home without them!  ADRs can be made on-line or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any  more questions!
