It's been 10 years since we were at DW. Things really seem to have changed since 2015! I'm looking for advice on what we should be planning for our trip and how we go about it. What are the MUST DOs?

    Hello Gordon,

Welcome to planDisney! You must be super excited that you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort after a decade away. This summer visit is going to be a great one! In 2015 there are a bunch of things that have been introduced and so many new experiences at all of the parks. I can’t wait to share my must-do’s.

Let’s start off by making sure you check out the showtimes daily for each park, fireworks and shows will be posted in your My Disney Experience App. Your first park might be Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Pandora-The World of Avatar is simply amazing. Be sure to check out Flight of Passage, it is an out-of-body experience on the back of a banshee. Hollywood Studios is home to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land. These are the biggest additions since 2015, and there are also a couple of others like Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

I hope you have a couple of days to explore the parks because if you loved the next two parks in 2015, you will not be disappointed in 2025. EPCOT has added the likes of Frozen Ever After and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. And then there is my personal favorite roller coaster across all 4 parks, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is amazing and every time I go on it, it gets better. But I did leave the best for last, Magic Kingdom Park is quintessential Disney. And seeing Cinderella Castle with fireworks overhead is still the perfect way to end a night in my opinion. But there are two new attractions most gravitate to, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and TRON Lightcycle Run are very popular. And for good reason, they are the two newest additions and will take you on a journey that makes you feel like you are part of the movie.

Hopefully this information is helpful for planning your visit. Enjoy the summer in the parks.

    See ya real soon,
