It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amanda! It's so exciting that you're planning your first Walt Disney World Resort vacation in more than seven years. You're right when you say that there have been a lot of changes since you were last there but your favorite classic attractions, shows, and snacks are still waiting there for you to enjoy. I promise you'll still get that warm fuzzy feeling when you finally see
Cinderella Castle again!
At the moment, it's not possible to have a map sent to you through the mail but you do have a few other options to get a map in your hands and start your planning right away. I recommend that you download the
My Disney Experience app, which is also probably new to you since your last trip, and use the interactive map feature to explore the Theme Parks! You'll be able to check out a map that actually covers not just the Theme Parks but all of the
Resort Hotels, Water Parks, and
Disney Springs as well. You can zoom in on specific areas for a detailed view and use filters to find attraction wait times,
Disney PhotoPass opportunities and, of course, the nearest restrooms as well. You can even use the app to get a step-by-step route from where you are to where you're going so you're never wasting any of your precious vacation time walking in the wrong direction!
If you're a paper person and you want to see and feel the map in your hands and maybe make a few notes on it, you'll also be able to find printable maps on each Theme Park's homepage on the Walt Disney World Resort website. If you check out the
Magic Kingdom Park page, you'll find a link right under the header photo on the left side of the page that says "Magic Kingdom Guide Map". Click on that and it will bring you to a PDF version of the map that you can download and print. The homepages for
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom all have the same link on their pages as well, so take a look at those so you can start planning your trip!
Have a magical day, Amanda!
