After 3 years at Contemporary MK View, looking at Polynesian in October 2012. I'm wondering if the Theme Park View is worth the extra $? Any specific buildings to request? Love them both but this will be my kids first time at the Poly.

    Hi Carla!

The Polynesian is a beautiful resort and the pool there is a lot of fun; most children absolutely love it.  The Magic Kingdom is definitely wonderful, but only you can decide if its worth the extra cost.  When I stay there, I like to request either a building close to the Grand Ceremonial House, providing easy access to the Magic Kingdom monorail and other amenities, or a building close to the Transportation and Ticket Center.  If you are in a building close to the Transportation and Ticket Center then you can walk there, providing you easy access to the Epcot Monorail line.  The Polynesian is the only Magic Kingdom Resort in which you can walk to both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot monorail lines.

The Polynesian has some fabulous dining and the Spirit of Aloha show.  Be sure to make reservations before going!  Reservations can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any more questions!
