Hi there, Debbie, and welcome to planDisney! I am absolutely thrilled that you've stopped by with this great question. I love that you have such fond memories at Walt Disney World Resort and want to immortalize them with your family.
Debbie, the program called "
Disney's Walk Around the World" has been retired, and all of the bricks have been removed. I can imagine that this is not the news you were hoping to hear. There are, happily, so many ways to commemorate a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and I'd love to share a few of my favorites with you!
Hardly a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth goes by that I don't end up choosing a new Christmas ornament to bring home with me.
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe at
Magic Kingdom Park is a fantastic place to find the perfect ornament any time of year, though many other merchandise locations also offer them, including World of Disney at Disney Springs.
Another one of my favorite souvenirs is a coffee mug. It's simple, but so meaningful, and heaven knows I love a souvenir that I can actually use. Cold mornings are made so much better by a hot beverage in a mug with my favorite Disney Character or Disney Theme Park!
If you're looking for a unique souvenir experience,
EPCOT offers a handful that I'd recommend. In the Japan pavilion, you'll find a fun pick-a-pearl experience where you choose an oyster that's opened in front of you, and you get to keep what's inside! On certain days, you can find perfume bottle engravers in the France pavilion and the Italy pavilion. You can even customize a tiara fit for a princess in the Germany pavilion!
Debbie, I hope this is helpful in giving you some fresh ideas about how to commemorate your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have! We are here to help!
See you real soon!
Jennifer
