Hi Julianne, welcome back to planDisney! It sounds like your granddaughter would get along famously with my grilled cheese-loving Mouseketeer! There is just something about that buttery, toasted bread and gooey melted cheese that makes it irresistible, right? Fun fact: there’s even a
National Grilled Cheese Day in April! I might’ve wandered down a grilled cheese rabbit hole there, but let’s get back to options for your cheese-loving gal.
Here are a few places where we’ve enjoyed grilled cheese. There may be more, but I hope your granddaughter will love these options too:
Woody’s Lunch Box in Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Their Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich is a delight. Even I can’t resist ordering it! I highly recommend using Mobile Order here, as it’s a popular spot.
ABC Commissary, also in Hollywood Studios, offers a kids' Grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwich. I’m sure they could modify it to fit your granddaughter’s tastes.
Sunshine Seasons at EPCOT - check out this quick service in the Land Pavilion. While they don’t have a specific grilled cheese, they do offer a Cheese Pizza Roll and a variety of kid-friendly sandwiches and snacks. I can always find something to satisfy the whole family here and there's typically ample seating too.
BoardWalk Deli is another great option for a classic grilled cheese. Pair it with beautiful views of Crescent Lake on Disney’s BoardWalk - it’s a perfect break from the parks.
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop offers delicious grilled cheese with a side of creamy tomato soup. Comfort food at its finest!
For something more fancy,
Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort serves a Gourmet Grilled sandwich with strong cheeses and shredded pork jelly. This one’s more for the grown-up taste buds, as it wasn’t a hit with my little grilled cheese connoisseur!
Julianne, I hope this helps you and your granddaughter find the perfect grilled cheese on your next Disney adventure! Rest assured, my little ones can ALWAYS find the next tasty snack to try.
Remember, we're always here to help at
planDisney with any further questions.
Magic always,
Louise
