Ahoy there, Daniel! Welcome to planDisney and Welcome Home! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with your
Disney Vacation Club question. I love chatting with a fellow Member!
Don't you just
love being a DVC Member?! Knowing that your next magical adventure is always just around the riverbend is priceless, and the ability to use your Membership to book incredible vacations at any Disney Resort, destinations around the world and on a
Disney Cruise Line adventure is the pixie-dusted icing on the magical Membership cake. I'm thrilled to answer your question and help you plan your Disney Cruise Line voyage!
You can use the current Use Year's Vacation Points and borrow up to 100 percent of the following Use Year's Points to book a magical getaway on a Disney Cruise Line cruise that takes place in your current Use Year. So, that means that right now, you are able to borrow Points one year in advance. If you want to save up Points to use on a cruise or any other DVC vacation in the future, you can
bank your current Use Year's Points, use the following Use Year's Points (for travel within that Use Year) and then
borrow the following Use Year's Points for a total of three year's Vacation Points.
I recommend starting the planning process by checking out the Disney Cruise Line
cruise destinations and
the Points Charts on the DVC website to choose the cruise of your dreams. If the Points Chart for your desired cruise has been published, that means that you are within your booking window. Then, just
call DVC Member Services and speak with a helpful Cast Member to convert your Vacation Points to Reservation Points, check availability, book your cruise, and make all of your travel wishes come true. After dialing "1" to reach Member Services, dial "3" to speak with a Cast Member who specializes in booking Disney Cruise Line vacations. Happy booking!
I hope this was helpful, Daniel, and I hope you book the cruise of your dreams using your magical Membership soon! If I misunderstood your question or if you have any other questions, just
ask me! You've got a friend in me!
Bon Voyage,
Mandy
