Hello Evelyn! I’m glad you brought your question to planDisney! The Walt Disney World Resort wants to make sure that
every Guest has a magical visit!
Disability Access Services (DAS) is intended for Guests who are unable to wait in a traditional line for an attraction or ride. In order to determine eligibility, the Guest must report to
Guest Relations at any of the four Disney Parks. Here, a friendly Cast Member will greet you to discuss and evaluate your son’s needs. Based upon his needs, accommodations may be provided to help your child have the best experience possible during his visit! If your son qualifies for DAS, he will be eligible for that service for up to 60-days. Once he is registered, he is covered in all four of the Disney Parks. There is no need to repeat the process at each park.
Once a Guest has DAS, they can report to an attraction or ride and receive a return time that is comparable to the current wait time at the attraction or ride. During the wait time, Guests are free to continue visiting the park, enjoy other attractions, get a meal or snack, or even just take a break!
Evelyn, I hope you have found this information helpful as you prepare for your visit! Please come back to visit planDisney with any other questions!
