Ahoy there, Linda!
Thank you so much for sailing over to planDisney with your stateroom question! How exciting that you’ll be trading in those Jersey Shore waves for a little adventure on the high seas—complete with ocean breezes, magical moments, and as many soft-serve ice cream cones as your heart desires.
Let’s dive right in! You’ll be happy to hear that your 21-year-old grandson can share a stateroom with your 13-year-old grandson. According to
Disney Cruise Line’s Terms and Conditions, any Guest under 18 who is traveling without a parent or legal guardian must stay in a stateroom with someone who is at least 21 years old—so your grandsons are good to go!
If a parent or legal guardian isn’t sailing, they’ll just need to give official permission for the adult onboard to take responsibility for the minor. Disney makes this super easy with a Minor Authorization Form. You can find it by visiting the My Disney Cruise section on
disneycruise.com, or you may receive it in your mailed cruise documents. Be sure it’s signed before you arrive at the terminal on embarkation day.
Once you’re onboard, don’t forget to open up the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to see all the swashbuckling activities and magical entertainment waiting for you!
Linda, if you have any other questions as you get ready to set sail, please stop by and see us again.
See ya real soon,
Christina
