My 7 year-old granddaughter and I will be staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter starting May 25. We have dinner at Akerhaus one evening at 5:30. How much time should I allow for transportation to Epcot and the walk to Akerhaus that evening?

    Hi Linda,

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. As a rule, I plan to arrive at my Disney Resort Hotel bus stop 60-90 minutes prior to a dining reservation, depending on its location.

For your dinner at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, I'd lean more toward the 90 minute plan because once you arrive at Epcot, you will need to walk quite a ways from the main gate to Norway Pavilion. I prefer arriving a bit early so no one feels rushed. Besides, there will surely be plenty of ways to pass the time if you end up with a few extra minutes.

I hope you and your little princess have a wonderful time! Please let us know if we can help you in any other way.

    Happy planning,

    Andrea U.
