I have a 2 year-old and want to devote one day to each of the 4 parks. We will be there for 5 days total. I think we can hit 2 of these 3 in one day, which two would my toddler like best? Downtown Disney, Boardwalk and Wide World of Sports. Thanks!

    Hi Lydia,

I think you'll find that Downtown Disney will be most enjoyable for your family.  There are plenty of shops and entertainment to keep you and your little one occupied throughout the day.
    • Lego Imagination Center features a play area where children can build and play to their heart's content.  You'll also have some great photo opportunities with life size Lego creations, and the scenery in the windows of this store is also fun to see.
    • There is a carousel & small train for a small fee.
    • The Marketplace Dock Stage often has special events and performances.  Check the directory boards for more information.
    • Characters in Flight is the newest attraction Downtown.  It's a 72-foot balloon that takes you on a six-minute flight above Downtown Disney.
    • Goofy's Candy Company is always a favorite stop. You can create your own crisped-rice treats or other confections to enjoy there or take home.
These are just a few highlights of Downtown.  There are also fountains to play in, fun restaurants to dine at and dozens of shops to explore.  You can also take a boat ride over to Saratoga Springs to wander around there for awhile.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
