My 8-year-old daughter is a huge Descendants fan. Evie is her favorite character because she has such a kind heart. Are there any Descendants attractions at Disneyland? Do you have any suggestions how I can make Descendants part of her upcoming Oct. visit?

There are so many ways to be wicked, Kim! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you brought your Descendants question here, because my three children are also obsessed with the films and Characters we’ve come to know and love. My daughter is planning to be Evie for Halloween – and I agree she has the kindest heart!

Unfortunately, the Disneyland Resort doesn’t currently have any Descendants attractions. However, there’s a very special DescenDANCE showing every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday in October at Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party! I’m hoping you already have tickets to this special event, since it's currently sold out. I had the chance to check out this event with my son a few weeks ago, and it’s so much fun! The DescenDANCE is the ultimate Villain Kids dance party in the Backlot of Hollywood Land. There are several shows throughout the night, so I hope you can catch one!

Let me set the scene: As the DescenDANCE begins, a spell is cast, and the Greatest Dance Crew from the Isle of the Lost is summoned to throw down some wicked dance moves set to hit songs from the famous films. The audience is invited to learn some new dance moves, and there are Villain Kids throughout the crowds to help demonstrate the moves, too. Plus, there are even special video messages from the actual Descendants throughout the show! Your daughter is going to love the choreography and story line – both are well done! Between shows, the dance party continues, so your daughter will have plenty of time to test out her new moves.

If Oogie Boogie Bash isn’t part of your schedule on October 17, there are still some ways to explore Descendants fun at the Disneyland Resort. I recommend checking out World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District for a Descendants section featuring costumes and accessories from Descendants 3. You can also find Descendants merchandise at Gone Hollywood, a shop located in Disney California Adventure Park, right next to Award Wieners.

Last but not least, be sure to check out the amazing Descendants section on shopDisney.com – there are so many villainous options to choose from!

I hope this information helps your daughter have an unforgettable experience this Halloween Time at the Happiest Place on Earth! And always remember… we’re rotten… to the core!
