Hi there, Franklin!
I love welcoming a fellow Floridian to planDisney. One of the biggest joys of living in the Sunshine State is being a hop, skip, and a jump away from The Most Magical Place on Earth. I never take walking down Main Street U.S.A. or going on adventures with my favorite characters for granted. It’s my pleasure to share how you can tap into this magic, too.
First, there are
four annual passes that Florida residents can purchase. So, with
proof of Florida residency, people who live in Florida qualify for every pass that Disney offers.
The following are the annual passes and a few details about each:
-Disney Incredi-Pass: You can hold up to 5 theme park reservations at a time and there are no
blockout dates throughout the year. This is great for those who want unlimited access to the theme parks.
-Disney Sorcerer Pass: You can also hold up to 5 theme park reservations at a time, but there are a few blockout dates. This annual pass is perfect for me because, as a local, I spend a lot of time at home for the holidays. But I also want to go to the theme parks as often as possible.
-Disney Pirate Pass: You can hold up to 4 theme park reservations at a time. The blockout dates include both peak dates and holidays.
-Disney Pixie Dust Pass: You can hold up to 3 theme park reservations at a time. However, you will be blocked out of theme parks on weekends, during peak times, and holidays.
You may also add on a Disney Water Parks option (no blockout dates even if you’re blocked out of the main theme parks) and/or an unlimited
Disney PhotoPass downloads option. At least one person in my family always gets the PhotoPass downloads so that we can capture special vacation moments all year long.
AN EXTRA GEM: Another perk for Florida residents buying annual passes is that we have the choice to make monthly payments (with 0% APR) toward them or to pay in full. Choose the monthly payment plan option at checkout. You’ll be asked to make a down payment and then the rest can be paid throughout the year. There was a promotion last year where the down payment was even lower than usual, so be on the lookout for
Special Offers on the Walt Disney World website.
I hope that you found this answer helpful, Franklin. If any other Disney vacation planning questions come to mind when planning your visits,
reach out to us here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
