Hello! We are over a year out from our trip. Should we order Magic Bands now? Or wait? I can't predict what my kiddos may want in a year but I don't want to wait too late! Thank you!

    Hi Lisa,

Thank you for visiting planDisney with your question, we appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us.  Ordering MagicBands is something my daughter looks forward to with every visit, so I can understand not wanting to wait too long!

Since your visit isn't for a while, I would recommend watching the site and checking the different MagicBands available for guests to purchase prior to arrival.  Since stock is continually changing, if there is a MagicBand that your children love, it may be worth it to purchase at that point, in case they sell out.  With that being said, I have found that there are always numerous choices that are all adorable!  Even when one of the MagicBands that I had my eye on disappeared, there was always another that I liked just as much.  If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you will be able to purchase your MagicBand up to 10 days prior to your visit at pre-arrival prices, so there is no need to rush.

While you are waiting, I suggest checking the Disney Parks Blog for the most up to date information regarding all things Disney.  It's a great way to keep on top of all the new experiences and offerings that will be available for you during your visit!

I hope you have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World Resort next year, Lisa.  If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please come back and visit planDisney again!
