Each year the Sand Dollar gymnastics meet takes place at ESPN wide world of sports. If you are an annual passholder with a waterparks and sports add on does that cover your admission to thos event? Or are seperate tickets required?

    Hi Savannah,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question! There’s such a great variety of events taking place on any given day at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. I had no idea it existed until I started participating in runDisney events, and now I always check to see whether any fun events are scheduled to take place there during my visits to Walt Disney World Resort!

From what I understand, most events, such as gymnastics meets, are run by third party event organizers and athletic associations. Because of this, Guests typically need a separate ticket to attend any competition events that take place at the Complex and these events aren’t included with a Walt Disney World Annual Pass, regardless of what options or entitlements your pass may have. That said, I’d recommend that you contact the event organizers to see whether they plan to offer any discounts or other promotions for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders. I’ve seen that happen for some cheer & dance events in the past, so it’s definitely possible!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
