Oh my my my, do I feel your pain!!! I checked EVERY day for cancellations leading up to my December trip, but to no avail.
I do like your perseverance and dining choice though.
'Ohana at the
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is one of my Top 5 dining experiences in all of
Walt Disney World! Easily. And for good reason...it is AWESOME!! And many guests must agree with our palates because it is very difficult to get an
Advance Dining Reservation (ADR).
Have you considered expanding your time search for dining times?? That may open things up a bit if you are willing to search and dine a bit later in the evening.
Disney does not keep a cancellation list for guests but take heart, cancellations happen almost daily. Regardless of dining location. It is going to take a bit of pixie-dusted luck, but with continued perseverance, you may just time it right one of these times. I would continue to check the Advance Dining Reservations tab of the Walt Disney World website.
As a third option, I would just try to ask for a walk-in reservation on the day of your visit. Although this is the least likely scenario, it does, in fact, happen.
