Welcome to planDisney, Jasmine.
How exciting that you'll be bringing your little Mousekteer to Walt Disney World Resort. There's nothing quite like seeing the magic through the eyes of your children. She will be in awe of all the magic that awaits her.
Unfortunately, Jasmine, Splash Mountain has permanently closed. I know that's not the answer you wanted to hear. Splash Mountain was my family's favorite ride. However, it is currently being reimagined as
Tiana's Bayou Adventure and is due to open in late 2024. Despite the sadness of saying goodbye to such a nostalgic and classic attraction, I'm extremely excited to see what the Disney Imagineers conjure up for this new ride.
As new details are released, I'm becoming increasingly confident that Tiana's Bayou Adventure won't disappoint. If the attraction is half as good as The Princess and the Frog movie, I think we're in for a treat.
There are still plenty of toddler-friendly attractions at
Magic Kingdom Park, Jasmine. I've put together a list of them for you:
- "it's a small world."
- Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
- Dumbo the Flying Elephant
- Jungle Cruise
- The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
- Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid
- Mad Tea Party
- Peter Pan's Flight
- Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
- The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
- Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room
- Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
-
Walt Disney World RailroadThere are also lots of opportunities to meet beloved characters, such as Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, Elena, Rapunzel, Tiana, Ariel, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, and more!
Your little Princess will also love the
Festival of Fantasy Parade,
Cinderella Castle, and (if she's still awake)
Happily Ever After. Here's a tip: Get your daughter some noise-canceling ear muffs for the fireworks. My kids are sensitive to loud noises and these allow them to enjoy the nighttime spectaculars.
I hope that's helpful, Jasmine! Thanks so much for choosing to be our Guest.
