My 3 year olds pass is linked to my fingerprint. Can he still get in if I am not there?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lacey!

Lacey, my youngest mousketeer has a difficult time with her finger biometrics scan, so the cast member at the touchpoint entrance of the theme parks has suggested the I use my finger print. I hesitated at first because I had your same concern. There are times she visits without me and I didn’t know how that would work. But hakuna matata! Rest assured, your tiny mouseketeer will be allowed entrance without any issues.

When he visits without you, have him scan his finger as he would if it was assigned to him. The touchpoint Mickey will turn blue. The Cast Member at the touchpoint will call upon a plaid-vested Cast Member to verify that the ticket or Annual Pass is valid. They will ask for your son’s name and take a picture of your cutie and re-do the scan. You can have a different adult scan for him at that time. But you’ll have to go through that same process on your next visit if that same adult is not with you.

Feel free to alert the cast member about your situation. They are very accommodating given this is not a very rare circumstance.

I hope this information is helpful! For any additional questions or planning advice, be sure to stop by. We’re here to help!

Have a magical day and see ya real soon!
