do 2 year olds need reservation

    Hi there, Charles!

Welcome back to planDisney. I can see that you are arriving at the Happiest Place on Earth tomorrow, and I bet you are eager to get your Disneyland ducks in a row, especially your theme park tickets. I'm happy to help you today. Let's get right to it!

I have some good news for you! Valid theme park admission and reservations are required for Guests who are 3 and older, so you will not need a ticket or reservation for your 2-year-old. They are considered a Guest of Mickey! One thing I will note is that if you are booking a dining reservation, Guests are asked to include the full number of people in their party, including those under 3 (even infants!). This helps the restaurant determine how much space you will need ahead of time.

With a little Mouseketeer in tow, you'll want to take note of the Baby Care Centers located at both Disneyland and California Adventure. Don't let the name fool you—these are designed to help those visiting with infants and toddlers to help make your day seamless. Not only are they cool and comfortable, but they provide toddler-size bathroom facilities, areas for nursing and changing, as well as a kitchen stocked with a microwave, sink, and feeding area. When my kids were younger, these provided the perfect location for a reset after a busy park morning. Just stepping into the air conditioning and getting a break from the hustle and bustle recharged our energy and set us up for a successful afternoon in the magic. You can easily find both Baby Care Centers by heading into the Disneyland App and tapping the map icon in the bottom navigation bar. On the next screen, tap the filter icon just under the top navigation bar and choose "Child Care and Services". If you tap "Show List", you can select "Baby Care Centers" to see both on the map!

Charles, I kept this one short and sweet in the hopes it makes its way to you in time for your visit tomorrow. I'll leave you with one last tip! If you have a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fan, be sure to check out the new show Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, over at California Adventure. I was able to catch this during my last visit, and it was high-energy fun, perfect for kids and adults alike!

I sure hope this has been helpful, and you have a day full of memory-making and magic. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney

    See ya real soon!
