Hello, Diane! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm so happy you thought to sail to us with your question as you prepare your
travel documentation for your upcoming voyage. It won't be long before you say hello to Captains Minnie and Mickey! As your children are 15 years of age or younger, they do not need to present a Government-issued photo ID with their birth certificate as you check in at the terminal.
Please keep your birth certificates and important travel documents with you in your carry-on luggage when you arrive at the port. You will go through a security checkpoint and then check-in for your cruise. You'll present your travel documentation before being cleared to step onboard.
Have your camera ready for those first few moments on the ship. It's fun to capture BIG smiles and any friends that will be out and about to welcome you onboard. You may also want to put swimsuits and sunscreen in your carry-on luggage. Your stateroom will be ready to enter around 1:30 p.m. and that can be a great time to change into swimsuits and explore the pools and water play areas onboard. Your checked luggage will be delivered to your stateroom a few hours after boarding, so keep anything you need in those first several hours with you in your carry-on luggage.
Have an amazing vacation! Bon Voyage!
