Hey there, Joselin! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks so much for taking the time to bring us your planning question.
Are you getting excited?! You are in the single digits now, and before you know it, you will be walking down Main Street with a view of Sleeping Beauty Castle up ahead! I am happy to share that children ages 2 and under do not need a
theme park ticket or
theme park reservation for entry into the parks. All Guests ages 3 and above will need a ticket and theme park reservation. If you plan on making any dining reservations, you will want to include your little ones, even if they are 2 and under.
As you are making your plans with your party, I know it can be challenging when you have older ones who want to do thrill rides and littles who don't meet height requirements. I recommend making sure you have the
Disneyland app downloaded because on there you will find a map that is super useful for many things, attractions included. The map should default to attractions and then above the map, you will find useful filters that will allow you to see the attractions labeled as "all ages" as well as be able to filter rides based on height requirements. This helps manage expectations ahead of time so there aren't any surprises if you have a little one who is excited about riding something, only to walk up to it and realize they aren't tall enough. I also recommend looking into
Rider Switch since you mention littles as well. It's a great way for everyone else to be able to experience these attractions with height requirements while someone stays back with the little ones, but let them hop into line afterwards without having to wait in the standard queue.
Joselin, thanks again for stopping by! I hope you have the most wonderful visit!
Carrie
