My 2 year old's favorite princess is Belle and would love to eat at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. There are no reservations available during our stay (it was an impromptu trip). What are the odds of a cancellation? Or walk up table?

    Hi there, Bethany!

Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I think I can help!

Just because you haven't been able to secure a dining reservation at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall doesn't mean you should stop trying. You just may luck up and get a reservation due to a cancelation. I would even suggest trying once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort as some people may cancel a day in advance. Since your daughter loves Belle, you absolutely must plan to visit Enchanted Tales with Belle in Magic Kingdom Park. This interactive storytelling experience is an amazing opportunity to get up close and personal with Belle. Many children are asked to play a part in the story, and a PhotoPass photographer will be on hand to snap pictures of each participant with Belle. It is a truly unique character greeting experience and one that my children all enjoy - even my boys!

There are also other opportunities throughout the parks to meet Belle, so just check the Times Guide for character greeting locations in each park. I feel sure that your little princess will have plenty of opportunities to see Belle even if you aren't able to get that dining reservation!

Sending you lots of pixie dust for a magical vacation!
