We have 7 year olds (boy & girl) and I am wondering what would be your top suggestions for rides for them? Or is there a resource for rides for kids at Magic Kingdom.

    Hi Janna!

The Walt Disney World website has a fantastic tool to filter through attractions based on height.  Visit Disney's Magic Kingdom attractions page and you'll see the different filters you can choose at the top.  Click the 'Height' drop down box and choose the appropriate option for your children.  'Any Height' means that any Guest can experience that attraction, including infants.  You can also filter by thrill level.  My 8 year old may be tall enough to ride Splash Mountain, but he's not quite up to the 'Big Drops' thrill level yet.

My top attractions at the Magic Kingdom are based on what my 8 year old enjoys.  Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is always a must-do for us.  I highly recommend choosing this attraction as one of your FastPass+ selections.  He also enjoys Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and Tomorrowland Speedway.  If your kids are more thrill seekers than mine, then Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be a huge hit with them.

Another activity my son loves is Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom.  It is an interactive scavenger hunt throughout the Magic Kingdom.  You must first stop at the Firehouse on Main Street U.S.A. to pick up spell cards that you'll need to play the game.  It's a fun way to fill in your day's plans.

    Have a magical day!
