My 6 year old is too young for the Wanyama Safari & Dinner, what is something else our family could do to give him a similar experience? This would be right up his alley, but he's too young :-( Thanks - Love the panel :-)

    Hi Mindy,

It is so crushing to get excited about offerings for our children only to realize they won't work out.  I do have a couple of ideas for your son, however. At the Animal Kingdom Lodge, there are cast members who are simply there to answer questions for guests regarding the animals and African culture at both Kidani Village and Jambo House. You are welcome to explore the resorts and enjoy the views & activities on the savannas. In the evening, there is story-telling around a fire pit and even night-vision goggles available for guests to see the animals in the dark. Throughout the day, there are many activities and offerings for children. If you stop by the Concierge Desk in the lobby, they can help you to see what the current activites are.

At Sanaa at Kidani Village, you can book Dine with an Animal Specialist.  I must say that the views of the savanna from Sanaa are wonderful not to mention the experience of having a Disney Animal Specialist there to talk and answer questions.

On a different note, if it is the tour experience you are hoping to share with your son, your family may enjoy the Family Magic Tour.  So much fun to go on an adventure through the Magic Kingdom! The Pirates and Pals Firework Voyage is another great family experience.

I hope this helps!  Please let us know if you have any more questions and thanks for the nice thoughts.
