We will have a 4 year old and a 1.5 year old. My wife and I are a bit concerned about the best resort for their age bracket. Is the animal kingdom lodge or villa a good option for them? My wife and I just want them to have close fun but close rooms too :)

    Hi Bill,

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is an amazing resort with such a unique experience with its beautiful theming throughout as well as the proximity to the savannas with all the animals that live there. It is a family favorite of ours because of all those reason. In fact, on our last trip we stayed at Kidani Village!  From our experiences, it was wonderful for our children when they were younger.  The animal watching itself is amazing, but there are many programs for children to do at the resort, a playground, & a wonderful pool. The one drawback to the resort is that while it is close to the Animal Kingdom, the bus rides to the other parks, especially the Magic Kingdom, are longer.  This is a resort that many guests opt to have a car at to avoid the longer bus rides and the possibility of having to stand on buses (especially if you have a stroller with you).

If you'd like to explore more of the resort, www.aklresort.com and www.allearsnet.com have more information as well as lots of photos.
