I have a 2 1/2 year old & a 6 year old. We will be visiting WDW in March for the first time and will only be visiting 2 parks. Magic Kingdom for sure and we cannot decide on the second. Any recommendation on another park that is age appropriate?

    Hi Carla,

Because of your children's ages, I think Disney's Animal Kingdom would be a great park for your second day at Walt Disney World.  The Kilimanjaro Safaris are a great place to start your day.  You'll see so many amazing African animals.  I bet your children will love this experience.  Your kids can have an even closer encounter with some gentle critters in the Affection Section of the park.  There are some wonderful shows to see in this park as well.  Be sure to catch the Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo.  Then they can ride in their very own ancient reptile on TriceraTop Spin!  When my son was five, he loved to dig in the sand in the Boneyard.  He would have stayed there for hours had we allowed him to do so.  Perhaps your children would enjoy this too.  There's plenty to do in this park with preschoolers and early school age children.  You can see a full list of attractions in this park here.

    Wishing you a magical day!
