I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. Is the Sci-Fi Diner a good place for us to bring the kids? Or should they older like -- 8 and 10 years old? Thanks for your help

It depends on your kids, Christine.  The Sci-Fi Drive-In is dark inside.  I've also found it to be relatively quiet, though not in a stuffy kind of way.  If you think your children might not do well in the dimly-lit room you might want to dine elsewhere.  Another consideration is that diners are--usually--seated in "cars" on bench seats with a small counter-like tabletop in front where the plates are placed.  I do believe I've seen high chairs, though.

Honestly, I think the four-year-old would probably be fine.  My son did just fine at that age.  My hesitation would be whether the two-year-old would be uncomfortable dining in the dark.  He or she might actually do just fine--especially with the distraction of the giant screen and movie clips to watch.  I would base my decision on how you feel your youngest would do with the dark room.  Good luck with your decision!
