I have a 7 year old, 4 year old and 8 month old. I have a double stroller that is a sit and stand. Should I just bring that and a umbrella stroller for my 4 year old?

    Hi Allison!

    Congratulations on your upcoming trip!

I am a big fan of ensuring that any little kid (even "big kid" little kids) have access to a set of "wheels".  I know your seven-year-old wouldn't be caught "you know what" in a stroller at home, but Disney is different.  The amount of walking can tire out a marathon runner, let alone a small child.  Therefore, as you can guess, I like your idea of taking an umbrella stroller along.  You can always use it to cart around your "park bag", which, if anything like mine will weigh about as much as a small child.  When your seven-year-old gets pooped, s/he won't feel strange in the stroller.  I've seen kids that resemble petite moms being pushed around in the Disney double stroller rentals (OK - I'm guilty, but it was really hot and I just broke up the mother of all tantrums.)

In all seriousness, having a seat for each kid will help you keep better tabs on your three "Mouse-keteers", and enable you to traverse the parks at an adult's pace, rather than at kid speed.

    Have a wonderful trip!
